  1. Thanks for this, it's very helpful. Doh! of course, I should have tried adding a folder rather than individual files! It's good GYM can help me save the MP3s before re-initialisation. Shame about the atrac files and shame on Sony for constructing such as stupid system! Does anyone know of a way of getting sonicstage to recongnise my nw-hd3 again without a reinitialisation? I am very angry with sony about this.
  2. A big thank you for developing this software and for sharing with us all Sonicstage is awful! I have long wanted an alternative. I was finally forced into finding something over the last couple of days. I upgraded to sonicstage 3.3 and in the process the software no longer recognises my network walkman (nw-hd3) and demands I delete all files before allowing me to transfer tracks again. No chance I've got 10gb of great music on my player! And how dare Sony try and bully me out of MY own music! I have installed GYM and the MP3 file manager, but I am not too clear on how to get everything working nicely together. So I have some questions. Any advice gratefully received. 1) Ok, I can transfer MP3 files from my laptop to the device fine with MP3 manager. But, I can't work out a way of creating a new group or folder in which to put the new files into. How do you do this without going back to sonicstage? Can I create groups or folders using GYM? This is my big problem, I can get tracks on, I can get tracks off, but I don't seem to be able organise new tracks in any way. 2) If I did want to re-initialise my nw-hd3 for sonic stage, can I use GYM or MP3 file manager to transfer all the music of my network player onto my computer in a way in which it can be brought back and accepted by sonic stage for transfer back onto the player after initialisation???? Thanks for your efforts
