Thanks for that, but have 'Hacked' a solution.Re-encoded the 320kbit files to variable 256min - 320max, and now they are OK!!?!! .Bit of a pain but only have 125 files so not to bad (thankfully not thousands). Did find out the original problem happens on files over 128kbit.... under 160 they are OK. Uberin.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.... I'm trying to convert some MP3 files to 132 OMA format with Sonicstage 3.3 The problem is that all of the MP3 files (320kbit) when played in SS3.3 are just a high pitched grabled screatch sound.These files convert to OMA ok, but again when played in SS3.3 or the Player...grabled. The MP3 files play ok in Winamp and Media player so it has to be something to do with this Sonicstage junk.....but what Any Ideas Thanks UBERIN
