  1. Maybe because I'm old enough to have come from the days of making compilations on cassette tape, then onto using MiniDisc (before Hi-MD), I use both my HD3 and MD's to store just a selection of music, often recent CD buys, for easy, portable listening. So 20gb on my HD3 is more than enough! I don't really want to carry around a vast selection, or my entire CD collection (who has the time to encode 'em all?!). Its amazing though that technology allows us to carry anything from a couple of Gb's to hundreds in devices that are as small as each other, so we have players of varying capacity to keep us all happy! 2. My new favourite is ATRAC3+ 256 which I recorded Kate Bush's new CD Aerial for my HD3, and NH1. I previously recorded in LP2, but I reckon I can really hear the difference . . . or it could be the excellence of Kate's original recording! Andrew
  3. Amazon UK are listing the NWA3000V available from Nov 7th, for £175.98 inc p+p. And why can't Sony come up with snappier names for their products?! Have they still not learnt from Apple with their Shuffle's, Nano's, Mini's, and just plain Pod's? As usual, Sony came up with the definitive and generic name Walkman decades ago, and has lost the plot to iPods . . . . Andrew
  4. I find Simple Burner very useful for transfering CD's to my NH900 Hi-MD, but it seems the program won't work with my HD3, forcing me to fill up my laptop hard drive with files prior to transfer via SonicStage. Anyone know why Sony won't/can't let us use Simple Burner for filling up Network Walkmans? It would seem a very obvious and quick method to get music onto the HD3/5. Andrew
