Having the same problem here but mine is even worse. When i transfered all my mp3(256 kbs) into a1000 using SS 3.1, it automatically change the mp3 format to ATRAC, and even worse, its only 64kbs !! Tried to change the settings for so many times and the result is still the same - 64 kbs.......quite upset about this

Just bought a A-1000, but lost the CD. So downloaded Sonicstage 3.1. problem with that is i can't transfer mp3 onto the player without converting them to ATRAC. Morever, when it converts to ATRAC, the quality is always just 64kbs, no matter how many times i set it at a higher rate, the result is still 64 kbs. My question : 1. Can i transfer mp3 withour converting to ATRAC ? 2. Since i lost the CD, does anyone know where can i get/download Connect Player (i heard CP allows you to transfer mp3 onto the player without converting to ATRAC) Hope anyone can help me with these . Bought a A1000 from a friend with really cheap price. But it only comes with usb cable. I am looking for a adaptor. Does anyone know where to get it and how much will it cost ? thanks
