Lets hope its better iv tried to find it everywhere even in japanese. Every part of this software takes long to load first then fast the consectective times. Might be because they are from diffrent divisons, but the music playing section is really nothing special. Only allowing to view by folder, and tiny album art in this respect SonicStage is better EDIT: Also does MP3, no WMA but default is AAC HIMD_Xtract_0.06b.zip

It gives photoshop a run for its money in the sense that it takes over 30 sec to load, unable to test anything as i dont have a SE phone, seemed to work all right once everything was working and adding podcasts was pretty easy just type in the URL or the (OPL? file). No video at all in the program CORRECTION after first load time reduces to 10 sec opening (i guess thats due to caching the files or something)

I tried the SE Version and first signs dont look good, asks for lots of personal information then requires you to have a SE device connected. Then connects to Sony.com to verfiy information. I am unable to connect so it tells me to ring sony directly this is absolute BS. I hope this isnt the same for the Walkman version. But if it is SonicStage wasnt the worst of our problems as the installation was long-winded and bloated. OFFTOPIC: I used happyfish and it copied AAC and M4V podcasts without converting and they were marked for ipod only supports upto 320x240 I find WMP the easyist to use but media monkey should work also, havent got playlists to work as of yet

It plays i tried but if it does download to the library it would be under "Other" in WMP. Or Just wait a few days for media manager for walkman to come out

No Manual as its on the internet, came with a plush case, and some earphones. Why dont you just get a leather case for it i got mine from PDAir nice and cheap looks good also

Until they decide to make one, but judging on responces here i dont think there will be. Considering the only way would be through the wm-port i dont see it happening

Battery life would be far better on the sony and i dont know but the sound quality might be better also, but i do know the sony would be easy to use as it is a dedicated music player as opposed to a phone

yep, lots of compaints about this sony need to add gapless support

NWZ-S61X? What do you want good earphones or a radio? I personally thing these latest walkmans are possibly the best ones ever made. I like the NWZ-S618 best because of the FM Radio but the other one is just as good, i would say if you can get it at a good price go for it and you wont regret it. Neither in my opinion are better just different.

For once someone who think like i do!!! I solved the problem but it costs a pretty peny. Get the WLA-NWB1 and some BT Earphones that support AVRP and your problem is solved. I said it wouldnt be cheap but considering remotes retail for $100+ this solution isnt to bad at $180+ I got the WLA-NWB1 and the motorola s705 and only cost $150 AUD on eBay, maybe you will be lucky too. And also it works! Pause, Play, Rewind \ Previous Track, Fast Foward\ Next Track But unfortunatly no shuffle or repeat off\on, Hope this helps

Are you using WMP11? Click Sync > Right Click on Sony Walkman > Set Up Sync > Then Choose what automatically syncs WMP has the wrong information at least on mine as it duplicates the space left meaning if you synced 2 GB it would say 4GB taken for some reason because files you added is 2GB (2GB if you add it again) dont ask me why it does this

Does Mp3Tag do AAC because that is the easist prog to use or use "The Godfather" as thats good also

Thats why i get shows that are allready in ipod format so they fit right on but music takes quite a while to get on double the time of my dads gigabeat s60

I think the HD5 got the editors choice also, higher marks dont mean you would choice is ipod might get 9 but if the sony has better sound quality it might get the editors choice just because of that. Choice is a very subjective term

I played it through my new BCR Dock and the right channel is distincly louder while background instruments are lost in the deep background

The dock is now in australia for an outstanding $150 OMG. I am glad i only paid $50 for it and its working like a charm

OFFTOPIC: Had to say this but the Zune must be going shit house as they arent going to be releasing it in Australia, even though a small market they should bring it here, for the people who like like kind of torture. Never no it could be good
