i think sony 1gb flash player would compete well against those ipod nano 1GB flash player. Reasons: sony battery life is awesome. My sony e507 is still on its first charge after 1 week of uses. IF you use sony format, u can store 630 songs, around there. Ipod nano only has 14hours of battery life and we all know that its not going to get 14hours(main reason to why i go with sony). ipod nano scratches alot. (another reason why). ipod are tooo common!! The lcd screen is too small to view photos. people who will buy ipod: look cool, trends people who will buy sony: style, good quality, long battery life, etc

I download firmware 2.0 for e507 on this website and install it. Then somehow when it gets to 99%, it timed out. I turn on the mp3 players and i won't turn on no matter what i try. Then i reset the mp3 player. All my sound are still in the mp3 player and the player works execpt there's no advance Menu. How do i get the advance menu back?

ok thanks, Do you guys know how how many hours do we need to charge for a full charge. I accidently pull out the usb cable after connecting with the computer for around 1:30ish and it show full charge.

I am looking for an earphone less than $30. I'm currently looking at Sony MDR-ED21LP Fontopia Earbuds. Is this earbud good and has good durablity. I broke my last 2 earphone over 6months period, so i'm am looking for a durable one.

However, they only last for about a week in the SonicStage software (for whatever reason)" Does that mean all my mp3 files on my computer will only last 60 days on the mp3 player?

I keep hearing ppl talk about the problems regarding SonicStage. Is there a way to upload mp3s to NW-E507 without going through sonicstage. Like I heard sonicstage scan ur computer for mp3 files to make sure u didn't get the mp3 files illegally. I dont want that. I really like nw-507 but this sonicstage is throwing me off. I don't want the company to know what i am putting on my mp3 player
