  1. Using SS 3.4 without problems, now will nt transfer anything to myHD=NW1. Error message - Transfers not allowed - Help!
  2. Thanks, But Vaio transfer isnot recognising my player for some reason. Still have same problem with ss. Any further suggestions?
  3. Sorry about the typos (stress!). p.s I have also initialized the hd1 and restored the factory settings.
  4. Had a series of problems with my HD1. The latest I can't get past is the follwing: When I connect my HD1 player, Sonicstage message automatically appears with the message - checking if tracks were deleted without being transferred - or words to that effect (sorry it's crashed and I can't copy the exact message) It the starts transferring, an error message appears with an OK box. Click thne 'ok' box and it repeats the same process. It does this constantly and I cannot do anything else with Sonicstage, until eventually I have to disconnect the device and Sonicstage freezes. Problem started when I was using ss3.3, however I have done a clean install of ss3.4 (using ypu're instructions) and immediately got the same problem. Has anyone had this problem as I'm in real need of help I asm running XP home, am in the UK and downloaded the Europe version of 3.4
  5. Thanks, I have followed the steps on the FAQ's page, I can now copy CD's However, next problem I have encountered is that the error message "The connected ATRAC device cannot be used with the currently installed Sonicstage, to use with currently installed Sonicstage, you must delete all the tracks in the ATRAC audio device or initialize the hard disk of the ATRAC audio device" I have initialized the player, but still get the same error message. I am using XP Home, with Sonicstage 3.3 and a new NW-HD1 player which my PC recognises OK when I connect it. Again, any advice is very welcome.
  6. Hi, 1st post: Have bought a Sony NW-HD1 player, but have major problems with the Sonicstage software. Basically it does not wotk on my PC, either I get the error message that "An error has occurred whilst preparing to record the CD. Please try again" or it crashes completely. I have tried different versions of Sonicstage but get the same problem. I have also used someone elses PC and it works fine with my player. Anyone help please?
