I just bought a Sony NW-A3000 about two weeks ago and I have fallen completely in love with the player. Now, my problem is, as everyone in posession of one of these players would know, the software. I really like SCE as a company and they usually make quality products, but I can seriously not comprehend how they managed to put together the mess that constitutes the Connect software.. I tried that for about three hours before I realised that I was fighting a losing battle. Over to the SonicStage 3.3 software. This seems like a dream compared to Connect and I was very happy for about a week, but I am now experiencing chrashes every time I connect the a3000. Effectively; I have no way of getting music onto my player. The solution that it seems everyone is looking for is a hack that circumvents the software supplied by Sony. I am not able to make such a hack myself, but it can't be that difficult. You can see the files lying there in one of the folders only under different names. It should be a simple hack, and I am sure someone has made one already. Can someone please tell me where to find such a hack? Please - the world needs it! I hope someone can help me. I would be very sad having to turn my a3000 in to the store where I bought it. A Creative Sleek is not a worthy substitute - but I have no choice. Hope to hear from you soon!
