  1. Is that a new update for Connect Player, or have I missed something? EDIT: A link would be a good thing, so here you go: support.sony-europe.com
  2. Yep Stuge, he tried. Here is the post: http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1437
  3. I just upgraded yesterday, and the player works much better now. There is just one thing, which I've been wondering about. When I browse my music, some numbers like 1/3, 2/5 and 1/4 appear at the top of the screen. Does anybody know what that is? I can't figure it out...
  4. Is .wma the only update with the new firmware? I haven't bothered to update, since that is the only difference I can spot.
  5. This is a bit off topic, but not too much. When I import my files to Connect, it's like it doesn't read the tags correctly. Eg. I have 11 albums under a genre called "Various" even though they all have a specified genre in their tags. This only affects some albums, while others work fine - even though they have the same string under "Genre" in their tags. Also, some albums (compilations), which I'm sure have "Various Artists" as Album Artist, are read as a lot of seperate albums - Ie. it doesn't read the "Album Artist" tag correctly. Anyone tried anything similar?
  6. Granbajo: I have FF installed, and it is my default browser. Sounds plausible that, FF could be the cause. It just seems wierd that a browser could affect CP that much... Stuge: I have IE v6.
  7. I don't know if you've already done it, but take a look at this thread.
  8. well, thats the problem then. You need sp1 or 2, for USB drive support in XP. I'll have to look in to that. Thanks.
  9. I just tried rebooting my computer, because sometimes it can perform miracles, and it almost did. Now the a3000 can charge the battery, but it's still not showing up in Connect Player. Btw, does windows recognize the a3000 as a mass storage device (hdd)?
  10. Ascariss: The player doesn't show up anywhere. Not in windows nor in Connect Player/SonicStage. I just tried plugging it in to another USB port, than I used yesterday. bogon07: Yeah, since they have written "Windows® 2000 Professional (Service Pack 4 or later)", they probably also would have written that with XP. I have DX 9.0c already.
  11. Actually i managed to install Connect player now. I kept trying since apparently you had to, because it comes with some openMG drivers or something. On the screen, i had to press up/down, which i hadn't tried. I only pressed left/right - don't ask why. My monitor is 17", and i have DX 9.0c.
  12. I finally managed to get Connect installed on my PC. So i tried to plug the a3000 into the pc, using the USB cable. The little red light, lights up quickly, and the a3000 charges the battery for a few seconds. Then the light turns off, it stops charging, it never moves on from the "connecting" screen. It's like the computer doesn't sense that the player is connected. Can anybody tell me what the problem might be? Im using WinXP pro 2002. Is SP2 required? I haven't been able to find any mention of this problem. Any help appreciated.
  13. I gave up, and downloaded SonicStage 3.4 instead. I hope it works out. Thanks for your help.
  14. I also tried scrolling to the bottom, nothing changed. Its like the buttons aren't there. When you are in the textfield, and press tab, it goes straigh to the "tilbage"(back) button. Then to "annuller"(cancel), and back to the text field.
