I suppose it might be hard to find if you didn't know what to look for, or don't have Bloomberg like I do. Try googling "market cap" and Sony / Apple. The PS3 will have to turn Sony's fortunes around. They have nothing else do do it with.

I belive Sony as a whole is worth about 70% that of Apple. Surprising, no?

The MC40 is the best remote for the HD5. Not as absolutely necessary as on the compromised HD3, but still handy.

Ironically I use the bag that the 3G iPod 'free' case arrived in. Waiting for a clear case to be sent.

Actually, no. The HD5 is noticeably 'smoother' and also noticeably deficient in technical ability whichever codec you use, and this is prety apparent when compared alongside the Karma, iPod and JB3. In terms of the geek figures, it also measures relatively speaking a lot worse than the aforementioned players. The difference is much harder to detect by ear between the iRiver/iAudio and the HD5 especially with the iRiver, but at the psychological level the HD5 was once again 'nicer' yet 'not as good'. And going back to the geek figures, all in all I was very surprised that the Sony came out bottom in all measurements in headphone and line out modes. Oh yes, hello
