But what do I clip it to? My gym pants have no pockets and no belt loops... and I lack any nipple rings... so no.. it -should- be sufficient.. but it isn't. BTW.. where is this Sony CC-NW-B? I can't find it anywhere.. is there word on a release date or anything? Where did you find out about it? ShaBot

Wow.. that pretty much sums up everything id have to say too. I've been checking back every few days for a friggin armband. You'd think we'd have one by now. It's really crappy to produce this device without a way to keep it from flying off your person when excercising... I imagine that sony would be of the mind to suggest getting their sport mp3 player or some such ): Good to hear about that light on the right hand side of the display.. I just figured mine had been dropped at some point or something. ShaBot

I'm pretty happy with mine. If he wanted to take some painful shots at the device though he should have stuck with SonicStage... that is definately in my opinion as the owner of an e507 the weakest spot. I use the mp3manager solely with this thing now and accept that its a one-way device. Music goes in and that's about it. I have begun the habit of making room on it to xfer mp3's directly on to it to xfer to another machine and then launching the mp3manager and throwing them up on a playlist... its a bit inconvenient... but less than launching sonicstage. Personally... the clip is better than nothing... not by much... just -barely- better than nothing. I would like to have gotten a lanyard with it and there should be a US state-side armband solution by now. I'm about to build one out of loose spandex at this point. How long after launch should a customer wait to get the accessories they need? If I'm wrong here.. please let me know where I can get an armband holster for my NW-E507... PLEASE. Jebsu.. I'm tired of waiting and I've had too many falls using this clip to even -think- about using it at the gym. Edit: Oh yeah.. the blister pack thingy.. it's -not- one of the easy ones. I wound up taking a knife to it and carefully cutting a window out of it to pull the device out. It has cutout dashes all along the border where the plastic is incredibly thick and difficult to cut. But I mean.. it's a one time thing... you do it once and you've got your device. ::shrug::

I hate that clip.. not dependable at all.. from what I understand all the other devices come with a lanyard as well but sony skimped out on the E50* series. I too am looking for a good armband for use at the gym. I was thinking about just getting some spandex strips and making a little spandex pocket in there for it. ::shrug:: SB

Yeah I got to them.. for some reason I must be blocked behind work firewall.. I was able to get to them after tunneling home first. I wish I could find an eng translated version of that software. Thanks for all the help! ShadowBottle

I'm wondering if the US firmware will include a 12 hour clock instead of the 24 hour clock... or in addition to it. Sony doesn't care about us US customers too much... *sniff* ShaBot

I'm getting a 403 everytime I try to access it.. even with wget. I am in the united states.. perhaps were blocked (?). Which is odd because I was able to download the 2.0 firmware for the UK.. but still.. I cannot get access to those .nwm files. ShadowBottle

Are there any english written programs to do this? I'd really like to create my own but have no grasp of any other language other than english ): Also the Aquarium and Stardust screens are no longer available from that location.
