thanks everyone. i'm still using old school md technology so i don't know ANYTHING about this new stuff like LP2/4 and NetMD.

to be honest i don't know what i'm asking either. lemme get this straight. NetMD doesn't record in real time correct? that's the different between NetMD and standard recorders?

There's MZ-Nxx series recorders that are NetMD correct? Then there are the MZ-Rxxx and MZ-RxxxPC models. NetMDs can be hooked up to the PC via USB. and so can the MZ-RxxxPC models. I use to read about PC models like the MZ-R900PC that came with some PCLink device for music transferring from PC>>MD. My friend just bought a MZ-R910...is there ANY way possible for the 910 to transfer from PC>>MD like the 900PC? Can anyone help clear this problem up for me and my friend? Thanks.
