Congrats on the NW-HD1. You should try to avoid sonicstage at all costs, because there are simple alternatives which make life easier. this is called MP3 music manager, and it works with the NW-HD1 http://www.css.ap.sony.com/consumer/templa...=Personal+Audio there are limitations, but it's a easy drop and drag program. If you don't like this try the vaio music transfer, you can get that on this site.

my folder buttons don't work at all on my nw-hd1. the back light won't even go on when i press them. any nw-hd1 owners with this remote?

Where did you get your remote, i just got my rm-mc35elk for my nw-hd1 and i can't get the folder options to work either. I got my remote on ebay, and i suspect it might be a counterfeit product that's maybe why the folders don't work. If anyone has a rm-mc35elk remote from sony directly or an authorized dealer and has a NW player, does your folder options work?
