hi, i`ve recently upgraded to Vista 32bit and been having a few probs with connect. when i run the program after waiting ages for the update to download i get an eror message saying that "application failed to start because NTMSAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." What is the file i`m missing and why don`t i have it? I`ve re-installed connect a number of times with differing amounts of success and this seems to be as good as i can get it. I`ve tries the compatability modes too and no joy. Any help greatly appreciated as i want to upgrade the firmware but don`t have all the tracks on my system so want to copy them back first. Thnaks in advance. Martin.

After too much time spent trying to get connect to install properly and working around that i managed to get it to work and updated to the latest version. Yippee finally the connect store works but its in japanese, the player actually tells you what its doing instead of sitting there for ages using cpu time for seemingly no reason, device library reading actually works at usb speeds instead of 1 byte a second! Unfortuanately i can no longer transfer files to the player. Everything i`ve tried just says "0.oma transfer failed". This is to transfer mp3`s to atrac as they are being transfered which used to work great. Updating the file information already on the player works ok too. I`d rather not have to go back to the older horrificaly slow version of connect just to transfer files . any help appreciated.
