i had the same problem, i formatted my computer and installed all the net md stuff and it worked again, was a pain in the @ss, but atleast its working

i have the same unit and same remote...works fine for me

got my md at future shop here in toronto...everything works, displays are all fine too

i just bought a 707 and i have the mzr55...and yes the remote from the mzr55 works on the 707...for everything but one feature which is the 'sound'...but everything else is purrrrrrrrrfect!

YUP YUP...even speed control...although i find it very useless...i played with it for a bit and that was it for that feature

this hack is amazing...with my remote from my mzr55, i can acces all the features...*thums up*
