So, there are two ways to charge the battery (either by plugging an A/C adapter into the unit, or to plug a battery into a charger that plugs into the wall)? There are battery chargers specifically for the NiMH MD battery that are made for the US current?

Hello, I'm thinking of purchasing an MD player. The model I'm interested in, the Panasonic SJ-MJ15, is meant to be used in Japan and I would like to know if I'd be able to properly charge the battery here (in the US). I know it also comes with a AA attachment, but I'd like to know if I can properly charge the NiMH battery. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. -Stephan

For models of MD players (such as the Sony e75) that vary depending on the market (North America/Japan), do the recharging adapters also differ? I was reading the description about how a NiCD battery comes in the North American model and how a NiMH battery comes with the Japanese model. I realize obviously that the batteries are different, but are the rechargers also different?

Does anyone know what model remote this player comes with? Is it easy to find one?

I have been looking in the forums and have picked up bits and pieces of how to get mp3s onto an md player. I apologize if the answers to these questions are in the forums somewhere. My main question regards the Sony mz-nf610. As I understand it, this is a "non-net md" player/recorder. How does it differ in getting mp3s onto the md. About how much size does an mp3 take up when I transfer it?

Has anyone purchased the nf610? How many minidisc models are out there that have am/fm tuners?

Where is the best place to purchase a minidisc player? Would you recommend ebay? Is there a retailer online that has good prices?
