I think I am going to go with a standard portable with a line-in...It may be more worth it in the long especially since it is for the work environment...Hell maybe I can find one that also supports mp3 playback!

I have the cheapo MD player (that black one with NO options...). I usually wear it at work, but now they don't really want us wearing headphones while we work. Perfectly understandable in my opinion...Anyways, I was going to bring a boombox to play cd with, but since I have all of these MD's I was wondering if there is a boombox that has an MD slot to play the minidiscs... I had considered getting a boombox with a line-in but since I have el cheapo MD player/recorder, I don't know how using the headphone jack as a line-out will sound...From what I understand, it might sound like crap... Any feedback?

I have some AAC music files on my HDD that I want to transfer to MD via m3u2sb but that proggy doesn't recognize the file type...Is there a way to convert to mp3 so that I can transfer them over?

I found some info on the stripped down version by iceedtea. It seems that you can directly transfer mp3's to my md, correct? if so this is exactly what i am looking for instead of time consuming way of creating an image... I went ahead and followed his instructions to install SS but i cant get it to work...The tool bar of the prog is on the fritz and everytime I try to do anything it crashes...Bad install? I am using an ne410...I used to have a 510 but the buttons stopped working and I sent it back to where I bought it...So I went today and got this 410...I dunno if I like it much...it feels cheap. But if it works i won't care so much.

On thing the sticky post doesn't seem to mention, is why did he customize sonicstage? Does it allow direct mp3 to md like m3u2sb? Sorry about the noob like question but I couldn't find what it is all about.

Now I cant get M3U2SBurner to load up the track titles from mp3's into Simpleburner...I followed the readme, but its rather nondescript. Can anyone help?

Is there a way to use the Nero method of burning to MD and retaining titling in some way? I have seen references to some proggy that will do this, but the page is down...any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeing some way to do this via either DaemonTools or Nero and using a proggy called M3U2SB but the site where u can find this is down. Anyone know where I can find it? Kazaa? I have DiscJuggler, will that do anything for this?
