I'm after a deck, I already have a portable minidisc recorder (Sony NZ707 NetMD). So do I hook it up to the Aux then?

Might sound like a basic question but I am looking to buy a Minidisc player to add to my seperates, my amp is a Marantz PM66SE, it doesn't have an optical input so I assume I obviously need to look for one with coaxial. Also where do I hook it up to in the back of the amp, the Aux? And is it the same when I want to listen to it, do I need to select Aux on the amp? Any advice would be appreciated.
