  1. Well, thanks for at least replying nick (first person on two boards =p) As near as i can figure out, the battery is shorted or something... it's been sent back; i've only used it for a week =(
  2. Hi everyone, I hope someone can help... I was listening to my MZ-N10 today, when it suddenly stopped playing. It may have been my imagination, but I thought I heard a crack sound (those in-ear buds distort sound somewhat). It was raining lightly in LA today, where I am... the unit was inside my pant cargo pocket (thigh pocket) the whole time, and I was using the remote. It does not respond to remote or unit buttons at all. However, when in the cradle, I can use SS to play an MD. As nearly as I can tell, the internal battery is fully charged. Display says AC power when in the cradle, and the charging light still comes on however. Attaching the Dry cell/AA battery case does not help. I've done the 'turn off the internal battery' thing a couple of times to no avail. I've used some compressed air to try and air out the inside of the unit (light pressure; the can was 99% empty and very weak). It's a US ver MZ-N10, and I've had it for about 3 weeks now, and it's only seen some light usage in that time. Can any offer some insight or help? (for the record, it's a USA version Sony MZ-N10)
