  1. I doubt it's a malfunction, and remember, i'm using an nh600d, not a nf610
  2. Does anybody happen to have the link to the site that had the images like my avatar?
  3. I bought a 38el for use with my nh600d and can do everything but adjust the main play mode. I read the user manual for the nh900 and it says you have to go into the menu by holding display on the remote for 2 seconds, but on the 600, this doesn't bring up a menu. Has anybody found a way around this problem or am I going to have to hope that somehow this menu function can be enabled by a service mode hack?
  4. I've already tried that, it just sends the highest bitrate version. The only way I've found to send a lower bitrate version is by deleting the higher bitrate versions.
  5. Okay, if I convert an mp3 to multiple formats, say lp2 and hi-lp, and then I go to transfer the song, it automatically picks which of the multiple atrac formats it wants to transfer. Isn't there some way that I can be the one to decide which compression level I want transferred?
  6. Is it possible to do so? The page on the equipment browser at minidisc.org mentions recharging but my manual says jack. Maybe it's for the Euro version?
  7. Then I really don't know, on my r700, it saves the bass/treble settings and playback speed but seems to save personal disc settings inconsistently.
  8. I don't find MD to be too complicated, I personally find it just right. When I first got my mz-r70, I had no problem getting basic use out of it, but now that I've moved on to bigger and better things, I like the intricacy of it all. I'd hate it if the first thing I found out about my unit was the last thing I found out.
  9. 1) I have no idea what levels you are even talking about, be a bit more specific. Is it bass/treble level, recording level, what? 2) No
  10. and my biggest concern, can it still change sound settings?
  11. I don't really mind the bulge, but I do think it would be a nice idea to switch to AAA batteries. New recorders are getting 50+ hours as it is, i can't say i would mind it even being dropped to 25 hours.
