  1. Do you have experience about using AA rechargeable cells (1,2 V) in the separately battery case? It's not reccomended in some manuals I have read Could it cause problems or damage to the unit? I prefer if I can to use this kind of batteries

    MD for jogging

What about G-Protection? I can't go jogging with my MZR55, do you know if it's possible without problems with G-Protection? And with Sharp units?
  5. I've been using my Sony Mz-R55 for years, now it's dead. Maybe you can help me choosing. I need optical and mic. input, and a AA case. I can live without remote control, and I prefer reliability and a good battery life than NetMd or even MDLP. I have read about some models in my budget: Sony MZN710, MZN707, SharpMDMT190. . . I´ll use for live recording, thru optical from PC and sometimes thru analog in. By the way a few questions: - I have a Sony ECM717 mic. Can it be used in Sharp units? - My soundcard is a SB Live Platinum 5.1, It works at 48000 Could it be a problem for digital recording? I had no problem with my MZR-55, but I don't know about newer units (It's no posible digital recording with an old deck Sony MD-303) I'm very confused when I've read about lots of units, what about sony vs. sharp? It seems that Sharp are more reliable. . I have two Sony MDdecks and works OK Thanks in advance I live in a little town in Spain and I don't have lots of units to choose. . . Hope you understand my english
