Will this hack allow me to trasfer out from my sony 707 to my laptop? If so how?

And which MD recorders have synchronized recording? Does the sony n707 have that? Any cheaper models then the Sharp DR7 have it?

I guess I did not explain myself.I want to be able to pause during RECORDING and then record again all from the remote,this way I can put the minidisc recorder near the person giving the lecture and pause and record from my seat via the remote. Thanks
