Are you (indeego) sure?
  2. ADMIN EDIT BY kurisu: The links below are 100% valid, but please continue discussion here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9475 Hi, I find 3 manual users of Sony Hi-MD 2nd generation with language english only. You see the links: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/MZRH910.pdf http://www.docs.sony.com/release/MZRH10.pdf http://www.docs.sony.com/release/MZDH10P.pdf But model MZ-DH710 isn't manual user currently!
  3. ADMIN EDIT BY kurisu: Please read this thread for more detailed information: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9475 Hi, This new drive Sony Hi-MD data is model DS-HMD1 Pít-in with 4 colour different: silver, black, red and green! You see pictures from site AV Watch Japan http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2005/0413/sony01.jpg silver http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2005/0413/sony02.jpg open http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2005/0413/sony03.jpg black http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2005/0413/sony04.jpg red http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2005/0413/sony05.jpg green http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20050413/sony2_1.jpg 4 colour http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20050413/sony2_3.jpg open anlge http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20050413/sony2_4.jpg USB http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20050413/sony2_2.jpg 4 colour nice picture I like that green colour!
  4. I've understood, I've chosen MZ-NH1! YES, MZ-NH1!
  5. Also Hi-MD 1GB and MD Data 140MB (and MD View) disks will not work with your MZ-R30.
  6. I prefer format PCM recording that he's order: 1 PCM 2 Hi-SP 3 SP
  7. Hi, Today, I find the website watch.impress in language japanese. Alternative exist website for MP3, Yahoo can connect and downloading in Atrac format on NetMD and pre-NetMD, also HDD and CD Walkman!?!? You see the website in language japanese: http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20050224/yahoo.htm Translation in language english: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/t...oo.htm&lp=ja_en But the website Yahoo Atrac is OS for Windows only.
  8. I don't need MP3 support. People attract the attention for MP3. Some models of 2nd generation Hi-MD unit with compatible MP3 that it's better and comfortable. The top model 2nd generation Hi-MD dosen't MP3 support instead of basic model Hi-MD with MP3 playback like The Stamp. It wants many models 2nd generation Hi-MD to us (top MZ-RHxxx or PCM-RHxxx + basic MZ-NHxxx + business MZ-BHxxx). I prefer all type of recording: Atrac, MDLP, PCM, MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis and data file (FAT) on Hi-MD unit. Example: Basic models MZ-NH600D and MZ-N510 would've 2nd generation Hi-MD with MP3 playback support like NetMD and MZ-xxxD. Top models MZ-N10 and MZ-R900 would've 2nd generation Hi-MD without MP3 like live recording with PCM support or audiophiles. I would like new top model MZ-RH1 (or PCM-RH1) and and MZ-RHF20 and basic model MZ-NH620D (MP3 support) and MZ-NH520D (MP3 support). The model Hi-MD 1-bit of Sharp would be IM-DHxxx (NetMD and MP3 support) and MD-DHxxx (dosen't MP3 support). Because people are accustom little PCM or Atrac and want to buy new 2nd generation Hi-MD with MP3 support.
  9. I buying MZ-NH1 or MZ-RH10, but I waiting other new model Hi-MD.
  10. Also I'd like photo camera with Hi-MD portable for 3rd or 4th generation like photo camera with cellular.
  11. Not, isn't possible! Because one hole for protect (shell inferior) between disks MD and Hi-MD are different! Whichever MD formatting from disk Hi-MD blank can't use any old recorder MD or NetMD!
  12. Yes, 5Gb beyond audio and data: Hi-MD video movie (like DVD). I need to record in format PCM 2-channels or 4-channels or 6-channels (surround!). I'd like recording/listening Hi-MD software 5Gb in format DSD 1-bit (like Sharp SACD player/amplifier digital 1-bit!).
  13. I prefer also Hi-MD data that I use it for both audio and data. It's comfortable Hi-MD audio or data for computer and deck recorder (mini Hi-Fi) with USB.
  14. Yes, I'm buying Hi-MD blank media that I need to exchange/to create files data for computer and PCM audio recording.
  15. Hi, I believe that the inside of your Sony MiniDisc MZ-E700 player was dusty and losses oil? You watch a motor of the pivot-gear aluminum with a left written "LCX-4E", but without plump for pivot-gear? He advises to use an MiniDisc lens-optical cleaning (not head cleaning). The colour of your Sony MZ-E700 is orange, but orange isn't existed in market japanese?
  16. Hi, Also MD recorded (Stereo or MDLP or NetMD or LP2 or LP4) on a new Hi-MD MZ-NH700 to read an old MZ-R500. If it was recorded in HiMD mode then no, but reformatted MD 305MB in mode Hi-MD then no! Old MZ-R500 isn't compatible PCM format. Best regards.
  17. Hi iDiOt2, I believe that if you have: CD-R recorded from signal digital CD-RW recorded from signal digital software CD musical with Copy Control depend to computer/player/car audio CD-R MP3 or WMA recorded CD-RW MP3 or WMA recorded software CD musical with HDCD and xrCD format But CD-R or CD-RW recorded (format PCM) isn't possible to copy on MiniDisc because after first generation of the SCMS for CD-R or CD-RW recorded from software CD original (signal digital). You must use a software CD original (format PCM 2-channels only and no dts). If your CD player aren't compatible DVD-Audio (or DVD-Audio Hybrid with layer DVD-Video) and SACD (single layer only). Instead, SACD Hybrid (layer CD compatible) can use in the CD player whichever. Which your model of CD player? It your CD player is defect for line optical out (LINE OUT) cause signal was much low or battery is emptying? It advises, your CD-R MP3 or WMA or CD-RW MP3 or WMA recorded can use in the your computer with audio PCI card IN/OUT optical and drive CD or DVD. You can connect an optical cable between audio PCI card and Sony MiniDisc MZ-R900 portable. Best regards.

  21. Hi, Here, one forum from Blu-ray Disc Forum James Morrow wrote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 48GB High Density Minidisc [HDMD] Separates... James Morrow Administrator Joined: 05 Aug 2003 Posts: 98 Posted: Fri Jun 04, 2004 10:58 am Post subject: 48GB High Density Minidisc [HDMD] Separates... Using the four layer (100GB) technology already demonstrated by TDK but recording on both sides, High Density Minidisc is capable of 48GB. In the shorter term, until the optical head comes down in size and price, 24GB quad-layer single-sided may be more desirable than dual-layer, double-sided. 12GB dual-layer single-sided HDMD could be launched this Summer alongside 50 dual-layer BD discs, but 24GB HDMD is unlikely to arrive until late 2004 or early 2005, whilst 48GB HDMD will probably be late 2005... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------  WHAT? THIS IS IT REALLY? Best regards.
