  4. HELP! Recording Problems on R700

    I'm Having some problems when recording with my R700. I'm transfering Mp3 with PC LINK (MD-Port DG2), and some musics are "cutted", i was monitoring the recording and there was no problem, but when i listened what i've recorded, the music was cutted with blank spaces. Some musics where recorded normally. I guess it's my Recording Head. How can I clean It? can i use isopropyl alcohol?

    Well,

    I guess you can Upgrade to a Rm-MC11EL and RM-MC12ELK

    There are many places that sell remotes like E-bay (look for Rm-mc11el),www.audiocubes.com, and www.minidisco.com

    I've upgraded my Mz-R700 with a Rm-Mc11el Remote, and backlight worked fine.

    FINALLY my Remote arrived...

    and it surprised me! it'worked perfectly without blinking like r55 remote.

    I'don't know why r55 remote blinked, but now i'm able to adjust BASS/TREBLE/PITCH and have LCD display with backlight on remote

    If the Lid is not opening and closing the Upper Pannel or Bracket maybe Deformed, if is not ejecting the disc , The Holder or Upper Pannel May be Deformed.

    I guess, checking those parts could help.

  10. R700 Remote Voltage

    I would like to know what is the correct voltage for the remote control (Like RM-MC11EL), My unit shows 2.40V between Pins 1 (GND) and 4 (RVDD), and with the AC-Adaptor it shows 2.75V.

    I tried to use R55 LCD remote and it just worked fine with AC-Adaptor, with the batery, there was no backlight and when pressing any key the LDC display blinked.

    I'm waiting for my Rm-MC11EL arrive. So 11EL will be compatible? Or my R700 have some problem?

    Can anyone Help me?

    * I was looking on my R700 Service Manual, At page 19 Adjustment of Vc PWM Duty (L) and Vc PWM Duty (H), The values are exactly the ones i got. Is there something related to this? Can i change values without toasting my unit?

  11. Key Check Mode Problems on MZ-r700

    I'v Tried all again without the Hack, but i'm still having problems.

    Anyone who have a R700 could tell me if appears RMC OK on display, on Key check mode? (to enter in the key check mode, just enter in  the SERVICE MODE and press T MARK, then just press the keys to test)

  12. Key Check Mode Problems on MZ-r700

    I'm having some trouble with my unit, When entering in the Key CHeck Mode and testing all keys on the Unit, the display appears SET OK 0E 0 00. But when I try testing all key on the remote, it does not appear RMC OK ** 0 00 , Is there something wrong with my remote or unit?

    I'v noticed when pushing the pause(Caps) key on remote, the display appears:

    rPAUSE AB 0 04 or rPAUSE AA 0 04, AA is changing to AB. And the EDIT key on the remote appears: rDISP 66 0 04 or rDISP 66 0 04, is the same as the pause key. The others keys i guess they are right like PLAY that displays rPLAY BD 0 04 (the BD is Fixed not changing like pause and edit). Can anyone help me?

    My unit is Hacked 700>900 with no problems

    I just noticed this problem when i tried to use the R55 remote in my unit, and there was no BackLight and when pressing any key, the display on Remote, Blinked.

    Can anyone help me? I guess it's some resistor or something in my Unit, but is just a GuesS!
