  1. I'm not happy with this crappy jukebox thing. Hopefully by the time my minidisc players puke the mp3s players will be cheaper/smaller.
  2. hey maia, in my profile it has my msn name in it and email addy.
  3. Sorry Maia. I had got an email and read your reply, but I was busy and forgot about it. Anyways, what mine does, is the audio gets distorted and/or it will shut off. When it shuts off there are some weird lines on the lcd display. It shuts right off if I wiggle the connector that plugs into the r700 and it does the weird lines on the lcd. I hacked mine and am buying a new remote off of ebay. It cost about 45 dollars with shipping. I bought a n505 from wallmart for 72 dollars to record music from my pc, but now that opengm jukebox keeps crashing when I want to import more music into my playlist and won't let me record spleen. (Staind) It always keeps crashing on that song. Luckily neo came with my cd burner and I'm using that and this other program to burn my music.
  4. I have a r700 I bought awhile back when they first came out. Mine has the regular remote with no lighting or anything special. I don't know what model number it is. Whenever I wiggle the cord near the minidisc player, right at the connector, it makes weird lines on the player and/or shuts off immediately. I was listening to it today and it kept on cutting out in one or the other speaker and shutting off. I bought a newer remote today off of ebay, but I was wondering if there was anywhere locally that sold the ends of the remote so I could replace it.
  5. I experimented. If I turned down the volume of winamp, it stopped recording and said gave the message of no input. When you start recording again, it makes it a new track. So at 20 seconds, it says no source or something to that effect. I'd hook it back up, but I'm playing with the n505. They have two more. $72 dollars is such a bargin. hmmmmm...
  6. I don't know if I got lucky or what, but I set it at 20 seconds between tracks and it puts the track marks in for me. I'm happy. I just got a n505 from walmart for 72 bucks and a usb 2.0 pci card for 21 so I'll probably use that now. But I did get it to work.
  7. I found my answer. http://www.wincue.org/features.php
  8. Well, that wasn't the news I wanted to hear. If I had a long enough pause, it would stop and make a track mark. Do you know of a player that you can make longer adjustments to the delay at the begining or end of a song? It would take too long to make all those track marks. I'm not having any luck getting enough silence in between tracks.
  9. I have a mz r700. I hadn't tried to record with it in a couple years. I remember it would automatically make the track marks on silence. It says so in the manual too. I tried making the silence up to over 4 seconds and the only way I got it to make a new mark was to pause winamp for awhile. (I'm using winamp to play the music into the r700) Any suggestions? Maybe I need a different player that's easier to add time between tracks. Even at 4.5 seconds. I don't think it really changed the time in winamp to more than 2 seconds.
