  1. I've always been curious to know how it's done. Let's say, I had four files (let's call them A,B,C,D) on an MD, and it took up the whole MD. If I deleted files B and C, would the files be moved together so that the files A and D are right beside eachother? or would new files be places in between the files A and D? What are the technical details behind moving files on an MD? BTW, I have a N510
  2. My problem with SonicStage is that it takes too long to load, and I have to import my .mp3z to the music drive, before I can check it out. While with RealOne player, it loads faster and there are less steps to moving the .mp3 to the MD. By the way, what is the nero+sb method?
  3. I have an N510, and I use either Sonic Stage (mainly to change the title of a song on my MD) and/or Real One player (move .mp3z onto my MD player) to transfer files. Does anyone use other software out there? Real One player would have been excellent if I could put files into New Groups, and rename files with it, but I can't. I have win 2000. Thanks in advance
  4. I have an N510 On my music drive I had a playlist that consisted of 13 songs. The total size of the playlist is around 50 MB. Now, I deleted everything on my MD (using Sonic Stage), then I tried to copy checkout everything from the playlist. After the 9th song was transfered, A dialog box popped up in SonicStage 1.5 stating "Can not transfer other songs, the memory in your device/media is full". Why would the memory be full? What is the total amount of memory on an N510? What's the cause of the problem?
  5. I found the problem, all I had to do was convert to omg at a higher rate. I import the music to the music drive at 132 kbps now, and it works.
  6. I download a couple of .mp3 yesterday, and when I try to import it onto my music drive (@ 66 kbps), I get a dialog box box saying 'Only converted file(s) are registered. D:mIRCsoundsthe song.mp3' When I click 'OK' in the dialog box, the file is imported and the file type is .mp3 instead of omg. How could I fix this problem?
  7. I just bought my first MD player last tuesday, and I like it soo far. Now all the AA NiMH rechargeable batteries that I've seen so far has 1.2V, would I be able to use those batteries. Does anyone use 1.2V NiMH batteries?
  8. I'm currently thinking of getting the 510. I read somewhere that each song title could be at most 10 characters long. Is that true? When I convert an .mp3 to atrac does the song title remain the same? On the display, how many characters of the song title is displayed at a time? Does the title scroll?
