Sorry to bump this, but I'm having real problems with this and am in desperate need of help.

I'm having a problem with some songs that I have transferred from my PC to MD. The problem is that a few of the songs (only 3 out of the 40 something) produce no sound when played. The songs play normally, with the playtime shown elapsing, but I can't hear anything. The songs play fine when I play them as MP3s on my computer normally, they also play fine on sonicstage after importing, but when I burn them onto MD they just don't work. I’ve tried re-importing the files and re-burning them, but no luck. If it helps, I'm using a Sony CMT-M333NT. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jonks

I've uninstalled all my net MD drivers then reinstalled the ones for the CMT-M333NT and it worked . After, I reinstalled the MZN-710 drivers and now both devices work. Thanks for the help .

Sorry to drag this topic back up, but I am having trouble getting my computer to recognise my Sony CMT-M333NT. I've tried reinstalling the drivers as you suggested, but it has had no effect. I already have drivers installed for my MZN-710 and I am wondering if that may be the problem. Any advice on how I could get my CMT-M333NT recognised would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback guys. One of my concerns after the equaliser was the speakers. I don't know if 25W per channel will be enough. Most people say they are fine, as you have confirmed, and as I am going to using it in quite a small room 50W should fill it perfectly. Being able to adjust the bass and treble should be enough, although I would really like a full equaliser. Your positive feedback has convinced me to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks for the help. Hi. Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in (if not I apologise), but here goes. I'm looking at purchasing a Sony CMT-M333NT, but actual, decent, technical reviews are few and far between and I'd really appreciate some feed back from anyone one owns, or has owned one. My main concern is that all the sources on the internet make no mention of an equaliser on it, does this mean that there is no equaliser, or they are simply not mentioning it? Also should I go with this unit, or should I shell out a bit more cash for another unit, and if so which one? Thanks in advance. Jonks

Hi everyone. I'm an MD noob with about 160 quid burning a hole in my pocket looking to buy my first MD. Now, the question I have is what are the differences, benefits and disadvantages of the MZN and the MZE 510. The MZE looks quite good (aesthetically anyway), although information on it seems to be sparse and am looking for more info on it before I shell out. Thanks in advance. Jonks
