    md with mic input

if you have a powered mic you can use it to record on the n510, was fooling around with a cheap battery operated mic and found it recorded just fine - much to my surprise
  3. Hey, i'm new to the forum, hoping i'm posting in the right area - but at anyrate, hey I recently got the mz-n510, no real complaints about the system as a whole, except for the display not being backlit, and the remote being very very basic. What i'm wondering is if sony sells the higher end remotes separately, and if they would be compatible with my unit? Since i cant make the units display backlit, i'd like to at least have a remote that i can use in the dark. cheers.
