I did something really revolutionary and read the instruction booklet. I found out how to turn OFF group play. Apparently, for the minidisc player that I have, all you have to do is hold down the "GROUP" button for 2-3 seconds.

I have a SONY NET MD MZ-S1 WALKMAN Is there a way to turn OFF group play?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Mine only shuffles within a group, and when I listen straight through, when it gets to the last track of an album, it stops. I figured it was just something with the way I was configuring the MD when I put it together. p.s. - they don't make anything bigger than 80 minute MDs do they?

I have a SONY NET MD MZ-S1 WALKMAN, and I have Simple Burner and the OpenMG Jukebox. What I've been doing with my minidiscs is recording them all in LP4 mode, in order to fit as many albums of a certain artist onto a MD as possible. In a perfect world, (let's use A TRIBE CALLED QUEST for an example) I would love to have their 5 albums on one minidisc. I would like to GROUP them, seperating them (obviously) by album. And then, what I would like to do, is to have the ENTIRE MINIDISC play ALL THE WAY THROUGH, from track one of "People's Instinctive Travels And The Paths Of Rhythm" (Their first album) until the last track of "The Love Movement". Furthermore, (in this perfect world) I would like to be able to hit SHUFFLE and be able to hear a track from their first album, then something from their 3rd album etc. (bouncing around from album to album). IS THIS POSSIBLE? Seems to me that it would be.

Is there a particular place online that has 80-minute (or the highest they make these days) blank minidiscs? I'm trying to put a lot of my cd collections all onto minidisc, and I wanted to buy a decent number of minidiscs... And what price is a good price to pay PER minidisc? When I bought my minidisc player, it came with 20 minidiscs, and I haven't used them all up until now.

I used to have the Creative Recorder at work, any advice as to where to get it these days?

I have Sound Forge on my computer...do you think the best route to transfer the audio from MD to Computer is to plug the minidisc into the MIC port on the computer and play it? And then record what's played into Sound Forge... Any suggestions?

You would think that someone would come up with a program feature that allowed for uploading. Seems like it would be similar to "checking IN/checking OUT" with the MD JUKEBOX. It's kind of frustrating. Tell me more about WIN nmd...that might help.

I have the NetMD Walkman MZ-S1 I use this minidisc recorder to record post-game interviews at sporting events, using a microphone plugged into the LINE IN port. Now, the problem I'm having is transferring the interviews from the minidisc player to my computer (so I can edit them using Sound Forge). I know there is an easier way to transfer the files instead of plugged the MD player into the "mic" port of my computer and recording the LINE IN on Sound Forge. Can anyone help me on that? Will that program be my best bet? Another thing that would be nice, is the ability to listen to the tracks on the MD while using the NetMD Simple Burner. Any advice? Thanks in advance for the help.

Ok, maybe this program will help me then.
