I recently decided to take the plunge and purchase my first portable MD player. However, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of the options out there. I was looking for a site or section that had nice succint reviews and ratings of different players but I didn't find anything other than the descriptions (which are helpful if you know what you're looking for, but don't really comment on whether X feature really matters, etc.).
I'm wondering if anyone can help?
Here are some details on what I'm looking for...
-Portable
-~$250 or less
-Primarily used for recording concerts in small venues
-I need to be discrete when using it (i.e. it should be able to be used without pulling it out, looking at it, etc.)
-I plan on buying mics from soundprofessionals.
