Hi I have a Sony MZ-1 and it all of a sudden stopped writing the TOC. I record (e.g.) 3 tracks, it thinks it's recording I press stop, the TOC is flashing, and it powers down. When I press play again, it still thinks it has 3 tracks on the disc and then either flashes BLANK DISC or UTOC ERROR (error reading TOC). Any suggestions of what is wrong or ways to fix it would be great. I have taken this thing apart before, so I am not afraid to do it again.

Hmm...I thought the 1 bit amp was for Microphone input, for a more precise signal for a recording...
