  1. Nevermind, i'm a retard. I got it to work. Thanks IceTee for making an awesome build, this is much better than the SS that came with my device, woot! -Flip
  2. Does it not work with this device? I installed the SS successfully using IceTees build but when i plug in my N510 i cant seem to get SS to recognize the player, thus i cant transfer. I installed SS without noticing that the N510 is not listed in the supported players... am i SOL or am i doing something wrong? Thanks, Flip
  3. Ah, finally got it to work. Since i have a rotary volume dial in my car i have to turn it all the way down before i push in the digital tape, push play on the MD remote, then adjust volume accordingly. I found the fix in the manual, i guess it is good for something FF

  5. I cant seem to get things to sound CD quality in the car with my N510 that came with the car attachment. I think part of the problem is that i have to turn the volume on my car up so high. When i switch back to radio the sound is 10x louder, why does the MD player play so soft? I have even tried turning up the volume on the player itself all the way up (only goes to 30 ?!?) before touching the car knob, but the car knob still needs to be cranked up to the point of fuzzy sounding speakers. Sounds great with headphones, but i bought the thing for its dual use abilities... Any fixes? thanks, FF

  7. too bad, i'll continue to use SS then as well. What i usually do is create a folder with the mp3s i want, import it into SS, copy it to my player through SS then delete the playlist from SS, thus keeping SS empty all the time but for when i'm swapping in and out playlists. This method keeps me from worrying about the transfer limit per song and keeps me from having to import all my mp3s into SS, saving valuable space on my comp. Life would become easier is Sony gave MusicMatch liscence for MD's to work through MM since i purchased MM and all future updates a couple years ago and i use it as my main media player. Heres hoping -FF
  8. Can you create groups now with the new RP 10? I do not think you could with the old one and thus had to keep SonicStage around for maintenance type features like that. I'm at work so i cant experiment until later :/
