I tried the built in equalizer, but it made no difference. I'll check mp3gain out, thanks!

I'm using a netMD to record MD's, and use SP mode to be able to use the disc in my old non-netMD device. Has anyone got this to work? When I try, the recording level is way too high and the sound is therefore distorted. Am I the only one with this problem?
