I've got the answer already, he cannot record in MONO From different ways I get negative exeperience with this model, by the way. Now I can buy a MDS-JE500. Does anyone know if this is a problem player? ( I know from my Radio work that lot of MD players/ recorders has problems, unwanted erasing, Blocking, crashing etc...)

Is on the Sony MDS- JE303 the Option to Recording the double size of minutes in Mono available? Cannot find it anywhere online, also not the users manual. ( also not on www.minidisc.org) Can anyone telle me , or give me a link to as site with the user manual?
