Well, while i am now pretty sure that I will just wait until Hi-Md comes out and get pretty top of the line one of those...
On one hand I would like to be able to listen to my favorite tv shows, if I am out working late.
On the other hand, I have never really listened to any of the various compression schemes, so I dont know if they sound notice-ably different from a regular old mini-disk. And until i start reading reviews on here, i wont know if the Hi-Md sounds a lot different from the MD that I have now.
But, to my suprise, from reading here , I have learned that not all of the MD that are out now, sound a like.
My preference, what is most important to me, is the quality of the sound that I have recorded on my mini-disk from copying CD's or from live recording.
And I am willing to pay to get the best quality along with the best battery life and the longest recording time.
Whether it has TV sound or not is optionally. There are other ways to get that...I am really thinking that I am going to get the top of the line Sony CD player, the sports model that has TV sound and optical out put to use to play CD's that I will be copying to Mini disk
