I am looking for a mini disc recorder for live recording. Not big rock concerts but more intimate club type & theatre performances. I've read that sharp is the best in this regard as it has the best preamps for live recording. However, it seems like sony md is favored by most everybody. I'm wondering if I should just wait for the new Hd models to come out...not for the increased storage space but for the easier uploads. How much easier will it be to upload to PC with HD? Will the end result be better quality with HD? Am I thinking too much about this.....should I just grab one of the middle of the road sony players and be done with it?.
