you are not understanding what i went through last night after i downloaded the update. ouch. 2 hours of headaches. i ended up editing my registry it finally started to co-operate! the program opens up quickly and i am now transferring successfully. last week i ripped 1000 old/classic hip hop tracks from my collection and it is great to finally not have to pop in regular size cds. thank you. :smile:

got my net md today. problems right off the bat with the sw. downloaded the update and patch and still have the same stupid problem. can't get the program to open fast enough and it seems like it just hangs forever. running XP too.

just picked up a used md player. i am a total newb to mds and i just want to record some tunes on a disc to listen to. if this doesn't work for me i will look to a newer player that offers less of a hassle to hook up. this unit has an INPUT/opt/line/mic and OUTPUT/phnes/remote connection. i have a hercules gtxp sound card with the breakout box with endless connection options. you think for the life of me i could figure this one out? nope. on the back of the sound card there is an aux out and on the breakout box front panel i have a line inputs connection. can someone guide me through a connection process that will allow me to record? i am using musicmatch (retail). thank you.
