I was just curious to know which is the largest selling MD recoder in the World (or if atleast in this forum). Also which MD recorder is most durable: 1) Interms of built (can handle falls from hands, etc). 2) And interms of durability (max. no. of years used). your replies would help me a lot and also many others. thanx.

well if i could change the remote i.e. replace it with some other compatible remote then its fine for me.

what model do you suggest if one goes only for the best sound quality and also has recording features. A backlight LCD remote would also be great. thanx.

i'ld like to buy a new or second hand used sony n910 recoder and my budget is US$250. Also a compatible recording mic would be welcomed. preferably silver color, and singaporean make.

Well i'm being offered N710 for Rs. 12,000.00 i.e. around $265, but the MD has been manufactured in China and similarly N910 is available for $310 or Rs. 14,000.00. So please if u could let me know which makes are good and durable, and also comment about the Singaporian versions of N710 ($230) and N910($284) as listed in www.bluetin.com

Are sony MD recorders manufactured in china good ones or should i go for the singapore ones. And also whether Chinese manufactured MD recorders are durable or not? thanx.

can anybody advice me about the sound and build quality of PHILIPS HP 800 headphones, and since i have already bought them, whether they would be good enough with the N910s. Specs HP 800 : S/N ratio : 103db +/-3db. Freq Range : 10Hz-28,000Hz. Impedance : 24 Ohms. Max Power Output : 1500mW. plz. do comment if anybody has them . thx.

i'm in urgent need of knowing how to purchase a MD recorder like the im-dr420 and get it shipped to INDIA. and also a suitable lcd backlight remote for it. n btw majestic all my mails are firewalled so i can only view the posts in the forum. so plz. c 2 it.
