I have a sony mds jb-940 that has a timer switch for automatic recording everytime the power comes on when the deck is plugged into a appliance timer. I also have a mds je-480 that does not have this switch. Can I modify this deck to record the same way as the 940 since it is difficult to obtain decks with timers these days.
