I'm planning on buying a Sony MZR 35, 37 or 50 - my local discount Hi-Fi store has them as "display model" or "packaging missing" or similar all at the same (cheap) price. I'll be using it for ambient recording initially and probably some live music latter. I know these are old machines so people will have some experience of them. Which one would you go for?
