  1. Yep, you should be able to use it. The unit Ah or mAh only describes the capacity of a battery. The higer the capacity of a battery the longer it runs. (more energy to stores in its cells) I use 2400 mAh Batterys since they keep longer....
  2. Well - it depends. I installed iceeedtea's compilation on a windows XP home edition and it works like a charm  (Installed DX 9.0b before!) I'm still trying to figure out, why it will not work on a Windows 98 SE. Concerning the NetMD: The sound is good (maybe fantastic, but I've got nothing else but some headphones to check) and it took me about 30 min to install Simple Burner to get some CDs on the MD. There seems no alternative to MD (and therefore for Sony  )
  3. Yo, I tried the reeinstall again (after eliminating anything in the registry such as Sony, OMG, NetMD, Walkman,Falcon) but the problem persists. But I remember reading sth. about the Windows Media Player 9 needed as a prerequiste. Do I need one for Sonic Stage? Since the checksum seemed to be correct I assume another download will lead to the same results. So I'll wait until my NE410 comes and will install Sonic Stage 1.5 - until I get another PC. Btw: If iceeedtea hadn't made that build, I probably would still listen to my old Sony DD2 Walkman :wacky: So no matter if I get SS2 running or not (on my PC) -it motivated me to buy a NetMD! I'll keep you guys informed about the progress
  4. Thanks for the fast reply. Yes, I ran the md5 checker and got an OK. Since the error comes during the startup I assume you're right concerning the skin. I'll deinstall everything (including Registry entries), retry again and will keep you informed. If a second install will not work I was thinking about installing SS 1.5, deinstalling it again and try SS 2 again, maybe just to get some unknown files needed
  5. First of all I would like to thank all those people making such a forum available. As a newbie I could get a lot of tips and tricks before even buying a MD Recorder. So I downloaded and installed Iceeedtea's stripped down version of SS2. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried to open it the first time. I got an "OMGJBOX caused an invalid page fault in module METALLIC.DLL at 0177:02288503. " This was my first piece of Sony related Software, so I do not have any drivers, old versions or other Sonic Stage related Software on my PC Ive got a Windows 98 SE 4,10.2222A and installed the newest DirectX 9.0b before setting up the SS2 Do I have to install any drivers before opening Sonic Stage (to be honest I will get my NE410 in the next few days-just wanted to be ready when it comes) Somebody got an idea?
