  1. Once SS40 is installed, can we uninstall Connect? The thought of that monstrosity still sitting on my hard drive deeply offends me for some reason.
  2. Oopsie, my bad. Asus A7N8X (nForce 2, using onboard sound with Nvidia drivers) Athlon XP 2500+ 512MB RAM 120GB HD Win2k SP4
  3. Yeah, I've already modded my registry to that effect. thanks.
  4. This is something that's been bugging me eversince the days of SS1. As I have hitherto not used SonicStage for playback, it hasn't really been a big issue. When I'm playing back anything in my library on SonicStage, there are erroneous beats and sounds in the playback. Is anyone else having this problem, and if so what's causing it? btw, I'm using SS3.0
  5. I used this installer for SS3.0, from zdnet.com.au. It works fine with my NH1 but, as stated above, the Connect is pointed to the US site. I imagine there's a way to fix this in the registry, but I haven't found it yet.
  6. My battery is almost spent, so I popped the MD onto the cradle... and nothing. The battery indicator dissapears, and it will run fine in the cradle, meaning it's feeding of the power (and yes, I have made sure this is plugged in and switched on). The weird thing is, when I tried this earlier (with my PC switched on), the screen went all funny and faded away. Now, with my PC on, it correctly displays PC->->MD, the track number and the time elapsed on that track, as per usual. On other thing, the record/charge indicator flashes every few secs. I really dont understand what's going on with it. Could the battery be past it's sell by date? Thanks in advance.
