OK, so here is what I had to do to fix this problem. I had to re-encode my MP3 files. I used CDex. Worked fine for me after this.

I would love to know the answer as well. I just got my 610 and cannot transer either. It works fine with Realplayer though. UPDATED: Oddly enough, not all of my MP3s fail. Im stumped.
