Ok ..
I just bought a NetMD player Saturday, and once I got into the Sonic stage twilight zone. I boxed that b___h back up and Im taking it BACK TO BEST BUY. I have never been so insulted by a product before in my life.
You see I travel long distance for work, and I keep all of my (OWNED and personally recorded from LP) songs on my computer. I wanted to be able to put them on MD masters, then carry my masters with me on the road. This would allow me to make a "custom" disk with my laptop while on the road. Well suprise suprise...... I cant transfer MD songs to my laptop.. because they were "Checked out" on my Desktop.
IMHO sony is talking out of their ass when they say that they are protecting DR. This is all just BS and show. If they really cared then why is Sony selling MILLIONS of blank CD-R disks, CD-R units, Blank DVDs, and DVD+-r units, WHOSE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS COPYING OTHER cd's and DVDs.
You want to prove to me yu care about DRM, STOP MAKING the above items, then I'll take you seriously.
Well anyway, will HI-MD allow me to do what I want? I.e. move and play music files in mp3 format, between...
Desktop>>> Md player >>> Laptop
Thanks
