I fiinally have this working now. Problem was down to the driver of my Jenoptik Jenreader USB device. If I disable this then all is well. -- RoB

Gave this a whirl same behaviour. Sonicstage simply reboots the PC Oh well back to 1.5 for the time being

What did you have in mind dont mind trying something out Doesnt take long to uninstall -- RoB

Tried this but this time even worse as soon as the PC boots into W2K it reboots. Previously it would only do it when I started Sonicstage. Anway I un-installed again from Safe mode and am back with V1.5 and all is OK. V2 is not for me then ;-( -- RoB

Upgraded to the latest version yesterday and now everytime I attempt to start Sonicstage the PC immediately reboots without warning. Sonicstage seems to get as far as the screen where you can associate the types of music with the application. Has anyone any ideas or pointers? -- RoB
