Hey Everyone, I picked up a mini disc player at Best Buy to mess around with it. If the features dont work for me i can always return it. I have been trying to record some webcasts here at work, but have run into a slight problem. I connect the line from my sound card to the line in on my mini disc, and then monitor the signal through the headphone jack on my MD. Thing is, i realized i can only hear the webcast if the mini disc is recording. So that means i have my heaphone plugged into the sound card initially, find the place i want to start recording, unplug the phones and plug in the mini disc, record what i want, then unplug the MD and plug in the headphones, fast foward to next section i want, etc. I figured i went sound card to mini disc to headphones and played the webcast the sound signal would go through the MD into my phones, without having to record. That way when the part came along i wanted to record i just hit record, and then stop when things are done. Do any MD's offer this feature. I have gone through the entire manual, but no luck.
