I've had my Sony MZR90 for a few years now - my dad purchased it in HK but we live in Sydney. To record from the computer, 2 optical cables are provided and an SBLive adapter was supplied to us... but after many attempts we've failed to record anything - R90 couldn't detect anything. I'm thinking that this adapter is broken, or that my dad and I did something wrong. The adapter had 4 jacks so it was very confusing to use - I read the manual several times, so I think the adapter is indeed broken.
Can anyone help me out on this? Like tell me exactly where to plug what. Also in case that the adapter is broken, can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement adapter in Sydney?
