Hey, yeah I do use line in, so I'll definately try it with mic in.. I never use headphones but I just checked it out and yeah it isn't very loud. It comes through fine its just the volume.. But you say the Sharp has a record-level control? That would make sense.. but dyou know where it is/how I can change it? I'll look for it anyway.. Thanks alot

Hey, I have a problem with my Sharp minidisc player (MD-MT88) and could use some advice... You see when i record off for instance a cd all is ok, as in the volume can get high enough (not as high as on a discman, but still ok). But when I record songs off my computer they are recorded in an annoyingly low, sometimes even unhearable volume. I have checked all the volumes on my computer to be at their highest, on winamp as well as the main volume setting. Anyone know how I can fix this? Would be really cool. Thanks, Joe
