  1. I did a search but only found one thread that might be a similar problem to mine, so here goes a new thread.... I just installed Sonicstage 3.2 on my new laptop. Tried to transfer some tracks to my MZ-N10. The transfer gets to 95%, stops for about 5 seconds, then the old "ding dong" USB disconnect sound is heard as Sonicstage says "unable to transfer file". Then after a few more seconds the Windows USB connect sound is heard. I tried it on another computer and with a few different tracks and it's exactly the same. I remember this happening before but I don't remember how I fixed it. This is really getting on my nerves, please help me if you can. The only thing I can think of that might be causing this is the fact that I'm running the NetMD on batteries while trying to transfer and not on mains power, might this cause the issue?
  2. i don't know of the FAQ, where do I find it. I still have the problem and last week my MD wouldn't play any disks. The warranty runs out in about 5 days
  3. My first post here, hopefully I can help some others one day but right now I need help... I have just installed SS 2.0 on a fresh XP install (no other versions of SS or MD drivers have been installed). Do I need to install any drivers or will SS 2.0 take care of that for me? When I plug my MZN-10 in the device is recognised and I can see the tracks on the disk. If I try to transfer it to the MD it gets to 95% and then the error "failed to authenticate device/media" comes up. At this point the MD 'disconnects' (I get the standard windows USB disconnect noise) and after a few seconds 'reconnects' by itself. I am not able to transfer anything to MD. Help.
