Thanx for the reply
I initially had this idea that i wanted some sort of portable audio device(general, i know!) to listen to mp3s from my pc and also tracks from CDs.
I looked at various mp3 players e.g. iPod and also various solid state players. These either proved too expensive(iPod) or limited in storage capacity(solid state players within my price range). Then i noticed Net MD minidisc players..... they seem to fit the bill perfectly!
Im only interested in audio playback of tracks from my pc so don't require anything particularly fancy.
Relating to the Aiwa AM-NX9, do you know what shock protection it has? The various websites say something like "...Anti- Skip E.A.S.S.GP...". What does this mean?
I'll have a look at the unit(s?) you recommend though.
